Kaley Cuoco on the red carpet of the People’s Choice Awards. I loved this dress along with all of her other wardrobe changes that night. I wonder how hard it is to change so quickly in between commercial breaks like that? Maybe one day I’ll get to find out :)

People’s Choice Awards
The People’s Choice Awards set the bar high for the 2013 Awards season last night in Los Angeles. As a viewer at home, there is nothing better than a great night in front of the TV to watch the fashion, flare, and overall fabulousness of our favourite celebrities. The thing that I love about the People’s Choice Awards is that it includes the celebs that we love to see from all different genres; movies, TV, music, they’ve got it all! And we can’t forget, of course, that we as fans get to choose the winners!! As excitement builds in the weeks to come, we get to gossip and vote on who we want to win, then cheer as the person we love walks across the stage to collect that infamous trophy. It’s all part of the experience that I love.
Now, let’s talk fashion. There was much to break down in terms of red carpet fashion at this year’s show! My choices were ‘Favourite Country Artist’ winner Taylor Swift and ‘People’s Choice Host’ Kaley Cuoco. Swift was making a statement in white with her plunging V neckline and long trained dress. Recently rumoured to be single, Swift was definitely getting her revenge and sending out the message that Harry Styles is going in the wrong direction!! Kaley Cuoco not only did a great job hosting the event, but she kept her look fresh all night. On the red carpet she rocked a pale pink Christian Siriano number that any girl would die for. Like any good red carpet, however, there were also some cringe-worthy pieces that will be talked about for months. Let me know what you think the most talked about fashion will be from this year’s red carpet.
Once the show got underway it was an evening to remember. Viewers did not want to miss a beat as the soulful Christina Aguilera took to the stage to perform her new song ‘Blank Pages’. Aguilera rocked this emotional song with her out-of-this-world vocals. For me, it was a typical performance that you would expect to see from Christina. Over the top hair, makeup, set, and vocals. Does that mean it was bad? Not necessarily. Does that mean it was predictable? Yes. For all you X-Tina fans out there, let me know your thoughts on her new song and performance.
Lastly, we have to talk about the hardware that was taken home last night - the winners of course! The Hunger Games took the spotlight snagging 7 of the night’s major awards! I, personally, love the Hunger Games and thought the whole cast came across as humble, well spoken, and appreciative throughout the night. Plus, not one girl is complaining about seeing Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson up on that stage multiple times, right ladies?
